Insights Derived

  • Seasonal Trends: Sales peaked in Nov-Dec (2018-2019), alluding to seasonal buying behaviour 1.

  • Top Performing Product: Classic cars led sales, specifically in the US market. We recommended expanding into electric vehicles for diversification 2.

  • Quality Control Issues: Shipment sheet revealed that there are long-term waiting patterns on orders, could theoretically threaten customer trust.

What I learned

This project wasn’t just technical, as it tested my ability to translate data into decisions. I didn’t just visualise trends, I helped craft recommendations based on real business logic. That makes me valuable in a business setting: not just what I know, but how I can apply it.

The Power BI Dashboard

This dashboard was designed for an automobile company navigating Q3. Due to Power BI Desktop’s Windows-only limitation, the dashboard is shared below as a PDF, with a .pbix version available for download.
